Born on 28th July 1958, schooling at Jamuguri prathamik vidyalaya and passed HSLC in 1973 , HSSLC in 1976, and Graduated from Nagaon College in 1979 with major in Chemistry. He cleared professional exam CAIIB in 1990 and MBA in 2007. He published his first volume of poetry in 1990.
